the role: 

The Account Manager is the day-to-day client relationship owner delivering seamless execution across active projects. They are responsible for maintaining strong client communication, managing project timelines and tracking budgets, coordinating internal workstreams, and ensuring deliverables are met on time and to brief, serving internally as the liaison between the Account Director and the cross-functional team.

This role will report directly to the Account Director


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Owns day-to-day client relationships and project communication, serving as the primary point of contact across active projects and ensuring client needs, priorities, feedback, and expectations are clearly communicated internally.

  • Scopes, coordinates, and drives execution across cross-functional client projects, translating client objectives into clear workstreams, timelines, deliverables, and next steps. Partners with Creative, Strategy, Production, and Operations to ensure work stays aligned to scope, schedule, quality, and budget.

  • Maintains visibility across project status, scope, budgets, and resourcing, ensuring project management tools, status reports, hot sheets, and financial trackers are current and actionable. Identifies risks, dependencies, scope changes, and potential budget issues early and escalates appropriately.

  • Coordinates client reviews, approvals, and internal alignment, ensuring feedback is consolidated, decisions are documented, and teams have what they need to keep work moving.

  • Supports production and live experiences as needed, including client coordination, shoot/event logistics, schedules, approvals, and on-site support.

  • Supports project closeout and financial reconciliation, partnering with Operations/Finance to ensure final deliverables, costs, vendor invoices, and project financials are properly tracked and closed.


WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience with a focus on marketing and account/project management within a fast-paced agency environment.

  • Agency Acumen: Strong understanding of agency dynamics, turnaround times, and cross-functional workflows.

  • Leadership: Experience managing and developing junior team members — including Account Executives, Account Coordinators, and interns — on agency workflows, client guidelines, and project workstreams.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Highly comfortable and confident in direct client-facing settings.

  • Financial Responsibility: Strong project finance tracking and operational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple budgets and profitability tracking simultaneously.

  • Cultural Connection: A passion for current trends, design, sports culture, and media, with the ability to translate those insights into strategic and creative client recommendations.

  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Figma, and platforms such as Slack, Monday.com, Harvest, etc.

  • Flexibility & Travel: Willingness and ability to travel to represent the agency for client meetings, shoots, and key brand experience events. Travel volume will fluctuate based on business needs.


COMPENSATION:

  • The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually. Compensation offered will be based upon multiple factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and depth of experience.
